Dental Care

You should select India for your medical treatments as the advantages for medical treatments in India include reduced costs, availability of latest medical technologies, and a growing compliance with international quality standards, as well as the fact that foreigners are less likely to face a language barrier in India.
We suggest that you designate one person close to you for family members and friends to call for information. Our staff is unable to screen calls or to provide information on your condition over the telephone in most cases. Your caller can ask the operator for you by name unless you have chosen “no information status.”
Adequate rest is important for you. However, arrangements can be made for a family member to spend the night with you and many rooms include pull-out couches.

Hematology

Patients admitted in rooms may be allowed to retain their allotted room while they are transferred to the Intensive Care Unit provided the charges are paid in advance.
Bed charges are calculated as per the type of accommodation opted by the patient. Discharge time is considered as 12.00 pm if the patient’s discharge orders are received for final billing before 12 pm room charges for the last day will not be charged.
Once approved by the consultant, the nurse carries out the necessary billing procedures and medicine procurements. Once patient settles all the bills, resident doctor under the guidance of the treating consultant fills in the discharge card and gives discharge instructions to the patients.

Cardiology

Yes, Emergency charges are applicable for night visits and special day visits. All operations conducted after 4 pm are charged 1.5 times the routine charges.
Mealtime depends on the location of your room. Between-meal snacks are available from the nursing unit pantries or room service. Check with your nurse for specific mealtimes and assistance with room service.
On the day of your discharge, our goal is to have you ready to leave by 11 a.m. Your doctor will write your discharge order after the morning visit. Please arrange for transportation home. Visit Transportation for more information.

Orthopedics

A living donor transplant happens faster if the living donor is available within one year; however, with a deceased donor transplant several patients have to wait for 3-5 years until a kidney is available is from a deceased donor.
Many variables are considered when evaluating a possible living donor. Living donors must be over 18 years of age, healthy, free of kidney disease and have normal blood pressure. The best matches come from full siblings (brothers or sisters). Areas of evaluation include the following.
The cafeteria is located on the 3rd floor and offers meals, snacks and beverages. Meals are served three times a day. Prior to delivery of the meal, the dietician will ask for the patient’s meal choices and plan the meal as per the therapeutic requirement.
